Yeah, last night I had the weirdest dream I can remember in a long, long time. It felt like I was dreaming forever, but I know that in actuality dreams are only seconds long. I'm glad this was only seconds long. I don't think I would have been able to stand anything longer.

Anyway, it didn't start out so bad. If I recall, I was on the Titanic with some rich woman who I recognized in the dream but no longer remember. I said something to her and she put a pearl necklace in my underwear and told me to check my clothes before doing my laundry.

Somehow the Titanic sunk and I was my dog Daisy. I was carrying a really heavy food dish (I could actually feel my jaws getting tired from carrying the thing) and I was trying to get to shore. The land was being washed away and I was trying to get back onto the shore. There were houses sinking into the water and sharp black rocks jutting out of the icy, dark water. At one point I went under the water and even though I was only about a foot under the water I barely see anything because there was so much silt and debris floating in the water it was blocking whatever sun was piercing through the storm clouds.

Somehow I ended up wrapped in a blanket as a human on the couch in the front of the TV. I was getting ready to watch Star Trek. A brief overview of Voyager was given and then everything started going in reverse in short clips. There was some announcer dude saying that everything that had happened on Voyager, on Deep Space Nine, even on the Next Generation was a ruse. None of it happened. Then the credits start playing. The credits were like the DS9 opening except with different shots of the station, some shots of Voyager (a CG image) connected to the station and different music. The music was very quiet and actually very creepy, the kind of music that makes you very uncomfortable for reasons you can't pin down. The show had a really stupid name, I think. It was called something similar to Star Trek: Crunch or Crush.

After the credits, the audience comes to learn that DS9 isn't actually a space station, but rather it's a framework in a dark room that is controlled by the Cardassians, namely Gul Dukat. All of the characters of DS9, TNG and VOY are trapped in the framework. They are completely connected to the framework with wires and they have been living their lives through ideas or something similar implanted into their heads by the controllers of the framework. Anyway, some or all of the characters are being awakened to the fact that they're living in a framework slowly.

The first character to wake up is Will Riker and he wakes up to the framework taking his arm. The framework saws off his arm and then camera follows his arm as the framework moves it to another character. I think Riker's arm was attached to this other character. I have no idea why this happened. The framework steals Will Riker's arm so quickly that there is no time to see blood. Other random characters are shown and Jadzia Dax's death is explained as the framework killing her and then transferring the symbiont to Ezri, probably for further torture. Ezri is shown briefly, unconscious and connected to the framework.

The shot moves to Deanna Troi. A whirring saw moves down onto the screen and, as is expected, Deanna is absolutely terrified. The saw starts cutting through Deanna and she screams. Blood is spurting everywhere and her bone looks unnaturally white because it is the only color aside from the darkness of the room and the red of her own blood. She wants to know why she's not dead or at very least unconscious at this point. The scream switches to a shot of Gul Dukat's head surrounded by darkness. He smiles at Deanna and says something to the effect of "Because we don't want you to be." Then the screen switches back to Deanna who continues to be hacked into little bits, still screaming and the saw dripping blood as it finally comes to a rest over her.

The scene switches and non-Star Trek characters are being tortured as well. The only characters I specifically recall are Anthy Himemiya and Kozue Kaoru from Shoujo Kakumei Utena. I remember someone saying something to the effect of "There goes Kozue." and showing Kozue striking a sexy pose while Anthy was screaming in pain behind her.

Finally, there's a commercial break and the announcer says something to the effect of "We are authorized to tell you there are less bloody things on other channels." Apparently it's so blood people are freaking out. That's also the reason that this version of Star Trek is on at midnight instead of say, eight o'clock. I'm completely disgusted and uncomfortable with this version of Star Trek, so I decide that I want to change the channel. When I try to change the channel, the logo for Star Trek: Crunch comes up and the framework appears, as if you're looking down on DS9 from the middle of the top of the upper pylons. There is a swooping sound and it looks like you're being dropped down onto the framework. Abruptly, there is the crunch of bones and the sound of liquid spurting out. You see a pair of legs fly off, supposedly your own as you too are abused by the framework.

So, I hear my roommie Sparrow say, "We've got to wake Sphinx. Have you heard the nightmare she's having." They're saying this because I'm apparently screaming in my sleep. So Sparrow and one of my other roommies comes in and they wake me.

Somehow I end up on the beach and it's my dad trying to wake me to tell me I was acting like a dog (Daisy) in my sleep.

Confusingly enough, my roommates come in and wake me up again. This time because I'm screaming about Star Trek: Crunch again.

Then, I wake up for real and find my lips are shredded to pieces because I was chewing on them in my sleep. Eew, I keep seeing Deanna Troi's bloody face in my mind.
