2003-02-17 - 1:46 p.m. Scariest thing I've experienced today: I woke up this morning to a loud crunch and then excruciating pain in my neck and the inability to move my neck. It's not the best way to start one's morning. I decided instead of the normal thing, going to the gym, I would walk to the student health and waste several hours of my life in line to see a doctor. I managed to get in to see a doctor eventually and apparently there's some sort of muscle spasm with a very long and complicated name happening in my neck. The doc gave me some anti-inflammatory cream and some SUPER! ibuprofen for the pain. She wanted to give me a neck brace but the office didn't have any (they were all stolen, which is weird) so I was told to wear a scarf as tightly as I can stand it for a few days. At least it's cold enough that a scarf doesn't look too out of place, even if I have to wear it indoors. Now, my biggest obstacle is crossing the road. Why? Because I can't look both ways without A LOT of pain. In other news, bananas taste really good. I wish I wasn't allergic to them.
